Tree Risk Assessment in Lewes

You may require a tree risk assessment for your site if there are falling or damaged trees present. These trees can cause serious harm to employees, customers or members of the public.

Nicholas Jones’ Tree Risk Assessment is carried out by accredited tree inspectors. We follow the procedure of the Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) methodology, ensuring the assessment is accurate and safe. We are also accredited with the International Society of Arboriculture Tree Risk Assessment Qualification.

The Risk Assessment involves a thorough assessment of a single tree or group of trees. During this assessment, we will establish whether any trees on your site could cause harm to anybody.

We utilise the latest GPS equipment to locate your trees and provide accurate and detailed survey schedules and management plans.

Tree Decay Detection in Lewes

As well as falling and overhanging trees, decaying trees can also pose a danger to the public. Over time, decaying trees begin to deteriorate, posing a risk to people and buildings close by.

Yet it can be hard to distinguish a decaying tree. Nicholas Jones, however, use technology such as Picus 3 Tomograph tools which can detect wood decay. Using this and other technology, we can identify areas of decay within a tree trunk. This enables us to accurately determine the level of decay and how hazardous the tree is.

Following the survey, we can offer advice and guidance on the next steps. We can also carry out remedial work to ensure the tree remains, however, doesn’t pose a threat to any people or buildings.

If you are based in Lewes and require our tree assessment services then please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We also carry out Tree surveys, woodland management, landscape design and other arboricultural services.
